Bookbinder: A WordPress Plugin for Authors and Readers
Bookbinder is a WordPress plugin that allows authors to organize pieces of content into a book and present it to their readers in a unified, aesthetically pleasing format. I am creating this plugin in support of my own novel, Thrum, but I figured since I’m doing that anyway, I might as well give others the same option.
Bookbinder’s basic goals are twofold:
- A simple-to-use plugin for publishing a novel on a WordPress blog
- A simple but attractive interface in which to read said novel
Eventually I’d like to enable authors to integrate a patronage or donation system into Bookbinder. If you have any other ideas or requests for things you’d like Bookbinder to handle, drop me a line.
