I had the pleasure last fall of visiting Ming’s Bight for the first time. Ming’s is a little town close to Baie Verte. I hadn’t been there before, and as part of the research and preparation for this book I’ve decided to try to do at least one visit to every town on the Baie Verte Peninsula, since that’s where I grew up and where my nanny (grandmother) still lives, so I get out that way reasonably often.  Also, it’s an area chock-full of rapidly-vanishing outports like Round Harbour and Snook’s Arm and Tilt Cove, and that momentum is a huge part of my motivation for writing Dynamite Harbour to begin with.

Anyway, pop over to the new Reference Galleries page and check it out if you’re interested.
